Recently, with the help of a group of dedicated volunteers, WFMC has renewed its efforts to gain endorsements from Canadian Members of Parliament and Senators of the UNPA appeal.

The number of Canadian parliamentarian endorsers currently stands at 50. If you would like to volunteer to contact parliamentarians and ask them to endorse the appeal, please email the WFMC national office.

A new book, “A World Parliament: Governance and Democracy in the 21st Century,” written by Andreas Bummel, the director of Democracy Without Borders as well as the international Campaign for a UN Parliamentary Assembly, and Jo Leinen, a Member of the European Parliament, “describes the history, today’s relevance and future implementation of the idea of a democratically elected world parliament and explores how world governance may be improved.”
