#GivingTuesday is on November 27 this year. GivingTuesday is a global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday. You’ll hear more from us about our campaign in the coming weeks.

Campaigns like #GivingTuesday help us produce our webinar series (details below), our twice-yearly publication Mondial and the other ways in which World Federalists are meeting the challenge of advocating for the legal and political structures to adequately and democratically address global problems.

On Monday December 10, 2018 at 12pm ET, we will host our next webinar. To mark Human Rights Day, the topic will be “Canada’s Human Rights Commitments” and include a demonstration of our web-based database on Canada’s Human Rights Commitments, which is a catalogue of Canada’s international commitments regarding the major international human rights and humanitarian law treaties and other instruments, as well as an overview of the international human rights oversight and monitoring framework.

Along with the demonstration, the webinar will include a discussion with Canadian experts discussing human rights.
