2018 Annual Members Meeting

The 2018 World Federalist Movement – Canada Annual Members Meeting will be held in Kingston, Ontario on November 11th. This year’s meeting will be held jointly with PeaceQuest, an organization the World Federalists have partnered with for the last four years.

The same weekend, PeaceQuest will be hosting two events:

  • Imagining Peace: A Vision for Canada, an all-day event on Saturday, November 10th, featuring a keynote speech from peace scholar Paul Rogers and a panel discussion featuring a group of local and national peace promoters; and
  • The World Remembers: An Afternoon for Peace, a special Remembrance Day celebration with music, art, and performance to remember and renew the commitment to peacebuilding will be held on Sunday, November 11th.

WFMC’s World Peace Award will be presented to Paul Rogers during PeaceQuest’s Saturday event. WFMC will host a reception in his honour that evening.

Registration for the PeaceQuest events is separate from the WFMC AMM and reception.

Go to the PeaceQuest website to register for either or both of these events:

  • Saturday, November 10th, 9am-4pm, $40 (until September 21st; $50 after): Imagining Peace: A Vision for Canada
